Software Engineer III F/T in-house position at Standard Ins Co, Portland, OR. Design, develop/implement new SW solutions. Transform delivery framework. Engineer/deliver solutions using test driven methodology; write unit tests/perform validation. Build/automate deployment of components into production. Engineer appls such as user interface, business logic, integration & underlying persistence/data repositories. Conduct/collaborate in requirements, architecture, design & code walk-throughs. Work on initiatives on technology selection, prototypes, R&D & process improvement. Requires: Bachelor's in Comp Sc, SW Engg, IT or related + 5 yrs exp as a SW engineer or related, including: 3 yrs full stack development exp incl Databases (DB2, Oracle), API & Responsive UI; 5 yrs designing/developing documents using HP (OpenText) Exstream Dialogue with experience in Dialogue Data Mapping, Page Designs, Output Queues, Flow Tables, Flow Targets, TLE's, NOP, Barcodes, campaigns, Messages, two pass process, sorting & bundling & Advanced concepts; 5 yrs development exp in legacy mainframe sys using COBOL, JCL & CICS; 5 yrs in Agile SW methodology; 5 yrs in conducting design & code reviews; 3 yrs working with CICD tools (GitHub, Jenkins & Nexus); 3 yrs in Content Management using CMOD, P8; 3 yrs working with code repository tools Endevor & Clearcase; 3 yrs development exp with UNIX scripting; 1 yr in automation testing using RubyMine.
