Bookkeeper The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time (15 to 30 hours weekly) Bookkeeper. Bookkeeping Duties - The successful applicant will record and monitor transactions involving invoicing, cash receipts, disbursements, accounts payable and receivable, and keep ledger accounts. Applicant will track sponsorships and events while preparing financial statements, payroll reports and bank reconciliations. They will also run a variety of reports for the Board, Committees and Staff as directed by the CEO. Applicant will work in an organized, open and collegial environment and will answer phones and process mail as needed. Applicant must be proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook and will be trained in Chambermaster software. Preferred education: Associate Degree Preferred experience: 2 years Bookkeeping (Will consider applicants with a combination of education and experience but proficiency in QuickBooks is vital and will be tested prior to hiring.)
